Texas Health and Human Services Commission

HHSC determines eligibility for Medicaid, Children's Medicaid (CHIP), and Family Services. 

Texas Risk Pool

The Texas Health Insurance Risk Pool is an individual health insurance program created by the Texas Legislature to provide health insurance to Texas residents who either cannot obtain adequate health insurance coverage as a result of their medical conditions.

Partnership for Prescription Assistance

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America’s pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that’s right for them.

Children's Medicaid

 

CHIP provides a wide range of benefits, including regular check-ups and dental care to keep kids healthy.  Texas residents who are pregnant, uninsured and not eligible for Medicaid may qualify for CHIP perinatal benefits.
